Language Access and Interpreter Services at VCMC and Santa Paula Hospital

Ventura County Medical Center and Santa Paula Hospital are committed to providing meaningful access to care for all patients, including those with limited English proficiency or other communication needs.

In compliance with Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act and California Health & Safety Code Section 1259, we offer qualified medical interpreter services at no cost to patients.

Available Interpreter Services:
• In-person Spanish Interpreters are available immediately on-site.
• Other Languages (including Indigenous languages and American Sign Language) can be arranged by phone, video, or in person with advance notice.

To request an interpreter:
Please notify your nurse, doctor, or any member of your care team.
